Favorite Products for Healthier Hair…

Happy Monday! We had a great weekend hanging out with some friends for a birthday party.  We went on a brewery tour.  I had a blast getting to see all the hipster spots around us.  I am not a beer drinker but enjoy the time with our friends.  We had so much hanging out with our girls too! Both girls got some late Christmas presents that were princess dresses. Dahlia slept in her dress the one night, it was so cute!

I got a hair cut earlier this year and my hair felt so short to me after.  I had been trying to grow out my hair for so long and I felt like I couldn’t get it any longer.  So I decided to switch up my hair routine.  My goal is to grow out my layers and have healthier hair.  Here is why I would recommend these products!

Silk Pillow Case –  This is better for your skin for anti-aging and as well as better for your hair.  Because silk pillows have smooth fabric they don’t catch hair the same way cotton pillows do.  Silk pillowcases your hair glides rather than rubs.

Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection Spray– This way you don’t fry your hair every time you blow dry, straighten or curl your hair.  I really like this one for a lower price option.

Aveda ‘dry remedy’ Daily Moisturizing Oil– I put this on the ends of my hair before I go to bed every night. I really feel like it’s made my ends much healthier.
Moroccanoil Treatment -I put this on my wet hair.  It makes my hair dry faster and feel smooth. For blonde hair, order the light one like I have here.

Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask– This mask I used at first once or twice a week and then over time started using once a week.  It strengthens your hair and is great to color you hair.  I really like this one for a lower price option.

Batiste Dry Shampoo, Strength and Shine – I try to wash my hair less than I used to so I don’t dry it out as much.  On days I don’t wash my hair I use dry shampoo.  I love it because it also adds texture to your hair.

Wet Brush– This brush is very gentle on your hair and you can brush it while it is wet.  I really like how it doesn’t pull on my hair the same.

Aveda ‘damage remedy™’ Daily Hair Repair– I really like this for leave-in conditioner.  When I just rinse my hair I use this rather than conditioner and don’t rinse it out.

Hair Ties –  I use these so they’re more gentle on my hair when I workout and wear my hair up.  I try to put my hair in a braid more than a pony tale so it’s not as damaging.

That is a long list of all the things I am doing to grow my hair out.  I have to admit I slowly tried to switch out things overtime and didn’t make a huge change all at once. Then I could see the improvements in my hair with each one.  Any questions send me an e-mail or leave a comment on my social media!
